PALUX – More than just a kitchen!

Noble dinner at Penzlin castle

Since mid-September the small town of Penzlin, located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is no longer known only because of its’ castle. For the first time, the exclusive cooking event "BURMÉ gourmet at the castle" took place in that historical ambience.

The best Chefs and kitchen artists in the country provided the participants with culinary delicacies, while they were able to look at the various preparation techniques.

Even starred Chef Tom Wickboldt, Chef de Cuisine at THE O’ROOM in the MARC O’POLO STRANDCASINO’ Heringsdorf and a PALUX reference customer, prepared a culinary highlight using our PALUX kitchen technology: Stewed ox cheek with Espuma of braised carrot and buckwheat crunch.

In addition to the dishes, the sale and the tasting of regional specialties were also offered. A total of ten regional and supraregional producers presented their products. Furthermore, the participants were introduced to classical technologies such as beer brewing, bread baking or the latest winery trends in various workshops in which the visitors were able to talk to the Chefs.

Both Chefs and guests were very satisfied with this first event and gave a positive feedback. According to Holger Gniffke, organizer of "Gourmet in der Burg", plans for the second edition of BURMÈ are already in the planning stage.

We are excited and looking forward to present our products in a historic ambience once again next year.
