European Culinary Soccer Cup for Chefs 2018
German team defends the title – also thanks to PALUX jerseys.
The top ski resort of Ischgl (Austria) is not only suitable for winter sports, but also for other sporting achievements during summer time – that’s what the German soccer Chefs have impressively demonstrated.
The German team, which consisted of well-known starred and TV Chefs, hoteliers, restaurant managers and sommeliers, managed to defend the title in the so-called Alpine Cup at the 2018 European Culinary Soccer Cup for Chefs. In addition to the other sponsors, PALUX AG contributed to the team's success with its own branded set of jerseys.
The Germans remained unbeaten with three wins, a draw and a record of 8-2 goals against the teams from Italy, Switzerland and Austria in the course of the tournament. In the Final, the German team won 2:1 against Switzerland, after a scoreless tie in the preliminary round.
At the award ceremony and the subsequent Alpencup gourmet menu in the legendary Hotel Trofana Royal, all participating teams celebrated a successful day.
