In 1811, today’s Café Stamm, a post-baroque building in the Markgräfler style, was built as a residence. Finally, in 1907, the building was acquired by Ferdinand Stamm. Ferdinand Stamm set up a bakery and confectionery in it. The building is an important contemporary testimony to the bakery trade at the former "Bayreuth City Gate". Until 1990 the bakery and café was run by the Stamm family themselves. It was then leased out several times and is now run by Regina and Michael Stöcker.
The café nowadays has 130 seats. Catering, breakfast and lunch are offered, as well as homemade cakes and pies.

Very recently the first PALUX X-Line complete kitchen was installed in Café Stamm in August 2021. The new PALUX X-Line product line consists of a seamless cooker system combined with sophisticated modular technology. Maximum design, flexibility and performance paired with budget orientation are the hallmarks of this series.
The new PALUX X-Line can be used in free space as a cooking block or, as in this case, as a line on the wall. The handrails and knobs are chosen in a brass look. The lacquer finish of the continuous front panel can also be chosen in any RAL colour. In Café Stamm, in addition to the PALUX X-Line, PALUX Ecoline stainless steel furniture with its numerous equipment variants and modular design was chosen.
The built-in PALUX Salamander, a device for scalloning, gratinating and keeping warm, convinces with its sophisticated technology and design. The PALUX GSD 502-TE dishwasher, economical, ecological and innovative, offers a comprehensive washing and rinse system with specially developed washing nozzles for optimum washing results. In addition, the built-in PALUX GLE-T glasswasher can be integrated into any counter and bar area and works economically and hygienically.

The Stöcker family chose the commercial kitchen manufacturer from Bad Mergentheim because of the good planning and implementation, the reliability, the excellent personal contact as well as the outstanding quality of the kitchen appliances and furniture. Regina and Michael Stöcker consider themselves "well advised all round".
