PALUX – More than just a kitchen!

PALUX as part of the Heimattage Baden-Württemberg

The official opening ceremony took place on May 8th 2016 in Bad Mergentheim. The state government, represented by Minister Theresia Bauer and Mayor Udo Glatthaar had the honor to open the Heimattage.  This is an annual traditional event that came to life in 1978. In 2016, Bad Mergentheim is the host city and takes advantage of the Heimattage by presenting its cultural diversity, strong economy, culinary delicacies, the wonderful park, the Deutschorden Castle and the historical city center.
Bad Mergentheim shined true to the motto: "Experience your hometown and homeland in new ways".

PALUX at the GastroNord & Vinordic in Stockholm

The GastroNord & Vinordic in Stockholm is one of the most important trade fairs for the gastronomy business in Northern Europe and it takes place every second year.

This year PALUX presented its products at the booth of their partner ABM Sweden and their sub-dealers. The international visitors were delighted by the PALUX products. PALUX recorded excellent contacts of existing and new customers within the first two days of the show.

PALUX at the Skiing World Championship of Gourmet Chefs in Ischgl 2016

The Sterne Cup of Chefs in Ischgl took place on April 11th 2016 after a successful kickoff event for the "Skiing World Championship of Gourmet Chefs 2016" at the PALUX booth in Salzburg.

Meanwhile the Sterne-Cup in Ischgl has become a traditional event in the gastronomy industry. Gourmet chefs like Karlheinz Hauser (Sülberg) and Hans Haas (Münchner Tantis) are part of this event.

The weather and snow have been great for a race between the crème de la crème of gourmet chefs from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol. The giant slalom was not the only challenge for the participants of the Sterne-Cup.
Like every year, the gourmet chefs had to also fulfill a culinary challenge by preparing dishes on the PALUX show kitchen at the Idalp- food baskets according to the motto "Surf and Turf à la Ischgl, the best of oxen and ocean" have been waiting for the teams. The task was to create dishes with the given products within 15 minutes.
