Volleyball company cup with PALUX participation
On the occasion of the club anniversary "160 years TV 1862 Bad Mergentheim", a beach volleyball tournament was held for three days on the market square and the DOG grounds.
To transform the market place into a beach volleyball court, 500 tons of sand were brought in and even a grandstand was built. On Friday, the tournament started with the Company Beach Cup, in which PALUX was also represented with the name "Underdogs". Apart from PALUX, a total of 22 other company teams took part.
The spectators saw 52 attractive and exciting games, in which the teams of four dug and smashed for all they were worth. The PALUX Underdogs team did very well and finished third in their group. Unfortunately, they did not qualify for the final round, but all participants had a lot of fun.
