Klasse Azubis – A project of the Fränkische Nachrichten
Already for the second time the vocational school class of the future industrial clerks takes part in the project "Klasse Azubis" – among them also the trainees of PALUX AG. The language competence, the media competence and the general knowledge of the trainees are supported.
"For the personal development of the trainees, the project is definitely positive. The general education has improved. For example, it is easier to have a say in economic and political issues at school", summarises Andrea Helget, responsible training supervisor of the commercial trainees at PALUX.
Over 40 students of the Kaufmännische Schule Bad Mergentheim now have access to the digital newspaper of the FN via smartphone, tablet or computer. A monthly online quiz shows if the trainees are taking anything out of the project.
Last year, the class W1KI2 of the Kaufmännische Schule Bad Mergentheim achieved excellent results and was thus also named the winning class of the project. As a prize, the class was allowed to look behind the scenes of the production of the new A8 at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm.
In May, the winning class took another look behind the scenes at the FN publishing house in Tauberbischofsheim, where FN marketing director Michael Wünsch and the accompanying editors Marcel Sowa and Melanie Müller showed interesting facts about the various departments – including editorial staff and the travel agency.
The trainees will also prepare for the next final quiz during the upcoming summer school holidays and hope to repeat the success of the previous year.
