Integration is important to PALUX AG!
There is a saying that work is the key to integration. The project "Handwerk direkt" with the support of the educational institution Kolping e.V. offers young refugees the possibility of vocational orientation.
In small groups, immigrants visit regional companies that offer craft occupations and thus give them the opportunity to view craft occupations on site. Also for the PALUX AG the integration of refugees is a matter of the heart. In the past, today and also in the future we are employing people from different countries and cultures.
Last week we welcomed 5 young people from Afghanistan, Syria and Guinea. At present they attend the preparation class of the commercial school in Tauberbischofsheim and have explored the job profiles "metal", i.e. tools and construction mechanic as well as "logistics" (specialist warehouse clerk and specialist for warehouse logistics) at PALUX. Together with our apprentices and the two training managers Michael Müller and Armin Quenzer, the young people were able to experience the work processes and company atmosphere directly and up close with all their senses - not only by language.
