Golden Company Anniversary for Manfred Herbst
An extraordinary anniversary was recently celebrated at PALUX AG – Manfred Herbst has been working for the professional kitchen technology manufacturer PALUX in Bad Mergentheim for 50 years. On 15 August 2018, a small ceremony was held to mark this special day of honour.
The CEO of PALUX AG, Erhard Ikas, reviewed Manfred Herbst's professional career in a short laudation: Mr. Herbst began his apprenticeship as a toolmaker at the former Patzner GmbH + Co. KG at the age of 14 and successfully completed it in February 1972. He was then employed as a skilled worker in toolmaking department. In 1998 he moved to the "Basic Production" department and since then has been working at the deep drawing press and representatively at the eccentric press. His area of responsibility included the accurate production of various components made of chrome-nickel steel, which are then integrated into high-quality kitchen components in downstream work steps.
Erhard Ikas thanked Manfred Herbst for his untiring commitment and hard work during 50 years of his career and for his loyalty in the eventful history of the company. Thanks to his many years of experience and inexhaustible knowledge, Mr. Herbst has contributed significantly to the success of PALUX AG. Paul Stark (Chief of Basic Production) handed over a gift basket as a small thank you for 50 years of loyalty to the company. In addition, Mr. Herbst also receives a monetary gift. Congratulations also came from Dr. Hilmar Rudloff (CTO), the Head of Human Resources Constanze Peterseim and Markus Fickel on behalf of the Works Council. The “big” farewell and tribute in the presence of all employees will take place during the PALUX Christmas Party at the end of the year.
But there was also some nostalgia at the end: after a busy professional life Mr. Herbst will retire at the end of August. For the future in the circle of his family, all colleagues wish him best health and many happy hours for his well-deserved retirement.
