Competition "Kreative Köpfe" 2018

Last week the 16th award ceremony of the "Kreative Köpfe" (creative minds) competition took place in the Wandelhalle in Bad Mergentheim. Numerous pupils aged 11 to 17 years developed ideas for everyday life with great inventiveness and the support of experts from various companies.

After the kick-off event in January 2018, the "creative minds" had three months to work on their inventions directly at the company. Committed experts – at PALUX the team of technical training manager Michael Müller with his trainees from the training areas construction-, tool mechanics and mechatronics engineering – supported the development of concepts and the realisation of ideas. You can find an overview of the competition and the way to present (almost) market-ready results under:

Fortunately, three inventions, which were supervised by our PALUX experts, were awarded first place.

The following projects, which make everyday life easier and from which the economy can also benefit in the future, have received awards:

Luisa Hayn and Teresa Lencz won first prize in the "Marketability" category with their imaginative "cake divider" for the cake tin. For example, the cake divider is intended to help singles bake a cake that meets their individual household needs.

Lia-Luisa Markert and Maylin Lea Fleischhacker (Deutschorden-Gymnasium) received the "Engagement" award for the creative project "Tea Cup of the Future". Their idea should help to ensure that the tea bag doesn't remain in the cup longer than intended or even fall into it. This project was realized in cooperation with Wittenstein and PALUX.

Anna Schiebold (Gymnasium Weikersheim) also won the prize with her "Puncher-to-go" in the category "Presentation".

Congratulations to all participants and winners for the exciting projects, great inventions and creative visions!
