18th 'Sterne Cup der Köche' in Ischgl

Team Bobby Bräuer wins a PALUX Cook 'n Roll Induction Wok

The creme de la creme of chefs from Germany, Austria and Switzerland met for the 18th time in Ischgl at the Idalp to prove their skills in skiing. Worldwide, this is the only event of its kind.

Fantastic weather, mild temperatures and best snow conditions – Ischgl at its best!

This year, the rules of the 'Sterne Cup' have changed. The total evaluation comprised from the ski race and the culinary competition. The teams lined up not only on the slope, but they also competed in a cooking challenge on the PALUX show kitchen. The aim was to create a dish from available ingredients within a few minutes based on the topic 'spring awakening'. The team of Bobby Bräuer (Esszimmer Munich) best solved both tasks, won this year's 'Sterne Cup' and received the first prize – a PALUX Cook 'n Roll Induction Wok.

Just like in the years before, the open-air PALUX show kitchen was the meeting point for culinary challenges and to build up strength for the next race.
