In 2018, the Heidexx Genusshütte, which combines the advantages of a restaurant, pub, bar and an idyllic beer garden under trees, was created on Heideck's festival square with 700 square metres. The owners are chef Marcel Ilg and his mother Monika Ilg.

Marcel's grandparents were already innkeepers and ran their business with passion. His mother Monika grew up in the restaurant business and passed this passion on to her son.

After his training as a chef and restaurant specialist, the chef moved to Thailand and Austria, where he learned more techniques of different cooking styles.

With the help of the new PALUX kitchen, he can now realise his diverse culinary influences.

In a cosy atmosphere, the Heidexx Genusshütte can seat 65 guests indoors and 100 outdoors with its beer garden. Around 160 meals are served per day. A special eye-catcher is the South Tyrolean hut in the inn.

The Genusshütte is characterised by friendly and familiar service. The Heidexx team works with heart and passion, so that the food is also of the highest quality.

The professional kitchen is equipped with a PALUX FunctionLine, which scores as a modular product line with the highest functionality, the greatest variety of applications and many practical details and thus fits perfectly into Marcel Ilg's kitchen. Also available is the PALUX standard furniture range, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of flexibility, adaptability, functionality, ergonomics and hygiene. The PALUX Variolift C salamander is indispensable for keeping food warm, gratinating and gratinating in the à la carte business. The Heidexx Genusshüte also offers à la carte dishes ranging from Franconian cuisine to South Tyrolean delicacies. In the adjoining area, a PALUX dishwasher ensures clarity without compromise. The equipment is rounded off by two of our PALUX Touch 'n' Steam combi steamers.
